She first noticed that I would conveniently blame my friend, Chawai, for the scratches I had (and the sly look in my face told her otherwise). Then I would lie to my Daddy that my Mommy hit me.

Mommy is seriously considering if she should acquire a cane, but decided against it as she did not want to introduce it too early because I may get immune to it! And also, I had too many 'mountains' to run to and would be rude and hate her forever.

I asked for a Diego Megablocks toy this Christmas. After waiting and wondering if Christmas was ever going to occur, it finally got me by surprised. "It's Christmas Day!" said Mommy one morning. "Yeah! Can I open my presents?" I asked.

I received many prezzies this year. Out of all the prezzies, I received dinosaurs the most. So went a conversation with my Daddy.

Ecc: When people give me dinosaurs, I am very happy.
Dad: People will only give you dinosaurs if you are a good boy. (I have been quite rude and bad the past few days...)
Ecc: I don't need people to give me dinosaurs. I will work and buy my own dinosaurs.

Daddy says I can read big alphabets but not small letters. I simply do not accept 'a' as being a 'small A'.

Today at Ikea, Mommy thought of a new way to introduce times tables. It's called the Tickle game. I get to choose multiples of 1, 2 or 3 and Mommy will use the corresponding number of fingers to tickle me when reciting the times table (single syllables only). Oh well, it was fun for me.

I like to make friends wherever I go. I make friends by waving and saying "hello". I get cross when they do not respond. I call them "naughty!"

The other day at Ikea, I made a good friend. I was on a swing and I let him sit on my swing. He gestured for me to sit with him. I broke into a smile and from then we were friends!

Unfortunately, shortly after, his mommy had to go off and I commented, "Hng! Now nobody will play with me!"

He didn't want to go too! In the end, my Daddy arrived and we also had to go off. The boy and I held hands and we trooped to the cashiers together. On the way, we talked about our toys and our dinosaurs. Our parents were really amused.

Thomas the train is for small babies. I, on the other hand, have entered a new phase - the jurassic phase.

Colossal dinosaurs.. Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops and Stegosaurus are now my friends. I bring them everywhere. I enjoy watching them on You tube. I know they are not real and I can't see them when I look out of the window. Still, alive in my imagination, they go everywhere with me. Little did they know, they have a dinosaur in the midst.

I love stories. I listened to mommy's revised story about Three Little Pigs and a big bad Wolf that day. She explained the pigs were at school one day and saw a wolf coming! They locked the classroom and the wolf started banging on it. "Little pigs little pigs let me in!" "Not by the hair of my chilly chin chin!"

I was so frightened! Later Mommy explained the wolf was really the teacher - and the pigs decided to transfer to another school.

To mommy's surprise, because it was really quite a crappy story, I told her "That was great! Tell me another story!"

It was near christmas and mommy brought me to a party.

I found some leftover halloween horns... wore them.

Great snakes! I went to see a doctor with mommy, who was told that I had to have an Xray at the hospital!

Mommy decided to disobey the doctor when my bump subsided.. and she said I was back to my monkey self anyway.

My bump's gone in 5 days... thanks for many prayers.

Mommy can't find her phone cable, and hence she couldn't upload more recent photographs. She wishes me to remember that yesterday, I received yet another xmas present from daddy and her.

It's a LEGO duplo set!!! Recommended for ages 2-6.

Mommy told Daddy that they could save on toys till I reach 6 if he buys the $200 set (she secretly wants to play with them). However, Daddy didn't, so I will still receive more toys! Yeah!

Anyway, Mommy has been secretly playing on pretext that she's looking after me.

My birthday just passed. I am already two. My latest obsessions are fish and Thomas the train. My favourite colour's still yellow, and sometimes green (no more pink!)

As to my life accomplishments, I can now tell short stories :

I can also sing many Tang poems! It's nice, even though I have no idea what the contents mean! I also like fingerman games!

To mark this special event, Daddy enrolled me in a competition. Look on your right - I'm on the coverpage!

Daddy has most of the photos and Mommy doesn't. So just for the record, I went to Sentosa's Underwater World one week before my birthday; had a Sunday celebration with relatives coming over; had a small celebration with the cell group; and went to Suntec City on my actual birthday to see the Koi Pond. Maybe more pics once Daddy gets organised.

I can perform Boss Walk... where I put my hands behind me

and strut like big boss. It's quite funny but since it's my special

performance, I don't do it everytime.

Recently, I have started to speak a few 3-word sentences. Yes, self-constructed!

I said, "Oh no, Ants!" on seeing an ant trail.

I also said, "I said NO!" after Mommy kept asking me after I've said NO already. However, 3-word sentences are rare and I'm still using words to communicate.

Mommy's trying to teach me useful vocabulary.

Such as... "Help!" , "Amen!" , "Smile" , "Hungry"

to help me communicate what I want to say.

Ever since I started walking without assistance, objects have been appearing in mysterious locations in the house. Colourful plastic cups keep disappearing from the kitchen drawer. Especially the yellow one (I'm having a fetish for all things yellow)!

Daddy was working on Saturday, and I became so Daddy-sick, attaching myself to his pair of shorts that I found in the bedroom.

I dragged it all over the house, saying "Daddy daddy ddy addy Daddy". Eventually, Daddy returned and could find his pair of shorts no more.

Poor Elmo!

Jurong, Singapore - Elmo, a furry red monster from the popular television show, Sesame Street, had been attacked and flung to the ground in a Jurong flat. He is reportedly well but suffering from shock at the horrendous ordeal he went through.

Debris was strewn around the scene of crime. An upturned piano and basketball stand were also found. CCTV showed a toddler with light brown hair leaving the crime scene happily. A neighbour was quoted as saying, "I can't imagine anyone wanting to hurt the poor, adorable creature."

Police are appealing for eye-witnesses to this appalling incident.
